ATTEMPT RULE

Constable: never leave a bubble blank. SI: follow the advertisement’s negative-marking rule.

05 · DESIGN

Preparation plan

A 4-month plan that trains body and mind together. The written test cannot rescue a failed physical, and the physical cannot rescue a weak written score.

  1. PHASE 1

    Verify and base fitness

    Weeks 1–32 h study + 45 min training

    • Read the advertisement: post, age cut-off date, standards for your category.
    • Easy runs 4 days a week; long-jump drills twice a week.
    • One diagnostic test per written area.
  2. PHASE 2

    Build

    Weeks 4–102–3 h study + 1 h training

    • Arithmetic and reasoning daily.
    • Assam History and Geography: one bank section a week.
    • Timed runs weekly; log them in joyjatra’s physical-test tracker.
  3. PHASE 3

    Peak

    Weeks 11–163 h study + 1 h training

    • Full written mocks twice a week; answer every question.
    • Race-pace runs; rest days before physical events.
    • Documents: HSLC admit card, PRC, caste certificate, NCC certificate.

A typical week

MonArithmetic + easy run
TueAssam History section + long jump drills
WedReasoning + interval run
ThuEnglish + Assam Geography section
FriGK and current affairs + easy run
SatWritten mock + timed run
SunRest and recovery, recall cards

Habits that hold up

  • Train progressively; injuries are the biggest risk before a PET.
  • Answer every question in the Constable paper.
  • Verify standards on SLPRB for your exact post.

Start with a 50–30–20 split of learn, practise and revise, then let your own diagnostic results reshape it. joyjatra plans effort; it never predicts rank, cut-off or selection.

06 · ACHIEVE

Practice and question banks

This exam tests Assam. Two topic-wise banks of 4,000 original MCQs are built into the Assam GK hub, section by section, with answers and instant feedback. Every attempt also updates your dashboard for every exam that tests Assam.

The general paper is covered too: 3,997 original MCQs in English, Reasoning, Arithmetic and India GK, each answered blind by a second examiner pass before publication, with explanations in English and Assamese.

Draft status: questions are original practice items awaiting expert review. Report any error from the question screen; never treat a practice item as an official previous-year question.
